Yati Wood S
The Yati Wood S, with its linear shape and fast sinking, is a favorite in the world of aquascaping. This wood comes from the sustainably managed forests of Malaysia and is known for its robust quality and aesthetic versatility.
Yati wood is ideal for creating intricate underwater landscapes. It is particularly practical for attaching mosses and other plants. The fine adhesive roots of these plants bond perfectly with the wood, making them particularly stable and attractive. The smaller pieces of yati wood, typically between 15 and 25 cm long, are ideal for nano aquariums, where they can become impressive highlights.
When several roots are creatively grouped together, natural cave structures are created that provide excellent hiding places for smaller fish. Despite its high dead weight, which ensures that it sinks quickly, yati wood initially releases moderate humic acids, which can slightly color the water, but also have health-promoting properties for many aquarium inhabitants.
