Vesicularia montagnei 'Christmas Moss ' is a Brazilian moss specialty that is originally known from Japanese aquariums, where it is known as "Amazonia Willow Moss". This moss is also known as "Christmas tree moss", as the side shoots are densely covered with small side branches reminiscent of fir branches.
Compared to normal Vesicularia dubyana, Christmas moss is more demanding and grows more slowly. Nevertheless, it adheres well to roots and stones and gives your aquarium a beautiful, natural look. Over time, the moss can grow out of the water and needs to be trimmed regularly to maintain its beautiful shape.
