Staurogyne repens
Staurogyne rep ens is a compact, robust aquarium plant with intense green leaves that is ideal as a foreground plant. This plant was discovered in the Rio Cristalino in the southern Amazon region. Its closest relative in the aquarium plant family is Hygrophila, but Staurogyne sp. differs in its distinct, coherent structure and small, green leaves.
When planting in an aquarium, the longest vertical shoots should be cut off. After this treatment, horizontal shoots will form the base of a new plant and gradually spread throughout the aquarium.
To plant the plant optimally, remove it from the cup and rinse the gel thoroughly under running water. Then divide the plant into small clumps of 1-2 cm and plant them at short intervals. As it grows, it will form a uniform group of adult plants.
This plant comes from in vitro cultivation and is therefore free from snails, parasites and algae. The high-quality gel used as a growing medium ensures that the Staurogyne repens is quickly accepted in the aquarium and thrives magnificently.
At Rendo Shrimp, we attach great importance to quality and offer you a first-class plant for your aquarium in the form of Staurogyne repens, which will enrich your underwater landscape.
