Dennerle Shrimp King Active Soil 8 L was specially developed for the successful care and breeding of freshwater shrimp. This active substrate consists of 100% natural raw materials and creates optimal water parameters for shrimp species that prefer soft, slightly acidic water—especially bee shrimp such as Crystal Red, Red Bee, Tiger Bee, or Shadow Shrimp.

Thanks to its natural ion-exchange properties, Shrimp King Active Soil lowers the pH and reduces carbonate hardness. At the same time, it provides valuable minerals and trace elements as well as natural humic and fulvic acids without discoloring the water. This creates natural living conditions for healthy, vigorous shrimp.
