Sagittaria subulata
Our Sagittaria subulata is a 100% sterile laboratory aquarium plant, supplied in a sealing cup. This robust and undemanding plant originates from South America and is an ideal choice for the foreground of large aquariums. It forms dense groups with its short stolons and gives your aquarium a lively and natural aesthetic.
When planting, we recommend spacing individual plants 2-4 cm apart to promote even growth. Sagittaria subulata can be somewhat unpredictable, as it can suddenly grow up to 50 cm high depending on conditions and age. If it is moved to the background, it tends to grow lower again.
A particular highlight of this plant is its ability to stretch long flower stems up to the surface of the water and unfurl small, white flowers directly above the water level. This characteristic makes Sagittaria subulata a fascinating addition to any aquarium.
Due to its adaptability and uncomplicated growth, Sagittaria subulata is an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced aquarists.
