Description

Rotalasp. 'Yao Yai' is a fast-growing, red aquarium plant that will give your aquarium a vibrant splash of color. This lesser-known Rotala species is characterized by its narrow, long and red leaves. Over time, the Rotala takes on a particularly intense color, ranging from red to orange-red, especially under good lighting.

Rotala sp. 'Yao Yai' grows in a similar way to Rotala green, creeping sideways across the ground and forming dense clumps. This plant is ideal as a background plant and can quickly green up the aquarium thanks to its rapid growth rate.

To plant the plant optimally, remove it from the cup and rinse the gel thoroughly under running water. Then divide the plant into small clumps of 1-2 cm and plant them at short intervals. As it grows, it will form a uniform group of adult plants.

This plant comes from in vitro cultivation and is therefore free from snails, parasites and algae. The high-quality gel used as a growing medium ensures that the Rotala sp. 'Yao Yai' is quickly accepted in the aquarium and thrives magnificently.
