Pogostemon helferi
Pogostemon helferi, also known as "Downoi" (little star), is a unique and compact aquarium plant that was discovered by aquarists in Thailand. With its unusual shape, wavy leaves and strikingly beautiful green color, this plant reaches a height and width of 5-10 cm. With good light conditions and a nutrient-rich substrate, Pogostemon helferi forms many side shoots with small roots and quickly creates an impressive carpet of vegetation in the foreground of the aquarium.
Carefully remove the plant from the cup and rinse the gel thoroughly under running water. Then divide it into small clumps (1-2 cm) and plant them at short intervals. As it grows, it will form a uniform group of adult plants.
This plant comes from in vitro cultivation and is free from snails, parasites and algae. A high-quality gel was used as a medium so that it grows quickly in the aquarium. Experience the quality and beauty of Pogostemon helferi for your aquascaping project.
