Microsorum pteropus on a root
Microsorum pteropus is an attractive aquatic fern from Asia that looks perfect on a root in your aquarium. This plant should be grown on a root or a stone and can be fixed with nylon cord until it has grown firmly. When planting in the substrate, it is important that the rhizome is not covered, otherwise it may rot.
Microsorum pteropus can be easily propagated by dividing the horizontal rootstock (rhizome). This undemanding plant grows under all conditions and reaches a height of 15-30 cm. The black spots that form on the underside of the leaves are spore receptacles (reproductive organs) and not a disease, as is often assumed.
This hardy aquatic fern is an ideal choice for aquarium enthusiasts looking for a low-maintenance yet attractive plant for their underwater landscape. At Rendo Shrimp, we are proud to offer you the best quality Microsorum pteropus on root. Experience the natural beauty and easy care of this exceptional plant.
