Makro Basic NPK is a high-quality complete fertilizer that provides the most important macronutrients - nitrate, phosphate, potassium and magnesium - in an optimum composition. Specially developed for heavily planted aquariums with high lighting and low fish populations, this fertilizer is an excellent choice for aquascaping and for closing nutrient gaps.

By supplying all essential macronutrients, Makro Basic NPK supports healthy plant growth and ensures that your aquatic plants are optimally nourished. This fertilizer is suitable for daily dosing as well as for targeted shock fertilization, for example after a water change. It is designed to prevent high nutrient concentrations from accumulating in the aquarium.

Application and dosage:

• Lots of light (>0.5 watts per liter) + CO2: 2 ml per 50 liters of aquarium water daily
• Low light (<0.5 watts per liter) + CO2: 1 ml per 50 liters of aquarium water daily
• Without CO2 supply: 2-4 ml per 50 liters of aquarium water weekly

2 ml Makro Basic NPK in 50 liters of aquarium water adds the following nutrients:

• NO3: 1.00 mg/l
• PO4: 0.10 mg/l
• K: 1.30 mg/l
• Mg: 0.10 mg/l

Important notes: Supplement the NPK fertilization with a micronutrient fertilizer (complete iron fertilizer) to ensure a complete nutrient supply. Regular water changes of 25-50% per week are recommended to maintain a balanced nutrient ratio. Adjust the dosage individually to the conditions of your aquarium.
