Limnophila sessiliflora
Limnophila sessiliflora from South East Asia is an easy-care and undemanding aquarium plant that is an excellent alternative to Cabomba, which requires a lot of light. This plant is characterized by its fast growth rate and its ability to adapt to different light conditions.
At low light levels, Limnophila sessiliflora tends to shoot up quickly, but this can be easily controlled by adding CO2. The stems of this plant can reach a height of 40 cm very quickly, but remain only 3-4 cm wide. Limnophila sessiliflora is at its best when planted in groups, resulting in a dense and attractive appearance.
Under good growing conditions, the plant develops many runners and spreads over the entire bottom of the aquarium. This characteristic makes it ideal for creating underwater landscapes. Limnophila sessiliflora used to be known as "Ambulia".
At Rendo Shrimp we offer you this robust and aesthetically pleasing plant of the highest quality, perfect for your aquarium.
