JBL Sansibar RIVER - Coarse-grained sand substrate for aquariums and terrariums
Optimize the habitat of your underwater and terrarium inhabitants with JBL Sansibar RIVER. This substrate with a grain size of 0.8 mm is ideal for freshwater and saltwater aquariums and terrariums.
Its coarse-grained, rounded sand is gentle on the sensitive barbels of bottom-dwelling fish and provides an ideal environment for burrowing animals such as rays, thorny eyes and catfish. It is also ideal for fish, invertebrates and plants as it does not release any undesirable pollutants into the water.
The application of JBL Sansibar RIVER is uncomplicated: Rinse the substrate under tap water to remove abrasion caused by transportation and then apply it to a culture medium. A layer thickness of 6 - 8 cm is recommended for strong plant roots.
