Hottonia palustris
Hottonia palustris is an easy-care stem plant that is ideal for beginners in the aquarium hobby. Originally from Asia and Europe, it quickly forms a dense group in the aquarium with its beautifully curved shoots and intense light green, lobed leaves.
Each stem of Hottonia palustris reaches a width of 4 - 6 cm and a height of 10 - 30 cm. Regular pruning of the longest shoots encourages vigorous new growth from below, maintaining the dense, bushy shape. Thanks to its broad growth habit, it is particularly suitable as a transitional plant between very low and tall plants and provides attractive contrasts in the aquarium with its light green color.
