GlasGarten – Crispy Caves - Baby, 2-Pack

GlasGarten Crispy Caves Baby – Edible Caves for Shrimp & Invertebrates

The GlasGarten Crispy Caves in the “Baby” size are edible tubes that combine food and hiding spots in one product. They are ideal for shrimp, snails, crayfish, crabs, and small sucking catfish in aquariums or terrariums.

The Crispy Caves are made from 100% natural ingredients and contain valuable dietary fiber, which is an important part of the diet for many invertebrates. At the same time, they specifically promote the formation of biofilm on the surface—one of the most important natural food sources for animals that scrape surfaces.

Thanks to their high content of wood fibers (cellulose), clay, and leaves, Crispy Caves mimic the natural habitats of many aquarium inhabitants. The tubes retain their shape in water and must be actively scraped away, which corresponds to natural feeding behavior. Smaller animals can even enter the caves and feed from inside while protected.
