Eriocaulon cinereum
100% sterile laboratory aquarium plants in sealed cups.
Eriocaulon cinereum is a versatile aquarium plant that is originally adapted to soft water. However, this variety is much more tolerant and also thrives excellently in medium-hard water. Nevertheless, soft water promotes optimal growth.
Eriocaulon is a small, very narrow-leaved plant that resembles the appearance of a sea urchin. It needs plenty of light and CO2 to develop splendidly. Under the right conditions, the plant will begin to flower after planting in the aquarium, forming countless small flower stalks that give it a unique appearance.
During the flowering period, Eriocaulon cinereum consumes a lot of energy, but under optimal conditions it quickly gathers new strength and sprouts anew from within. This plant is a great addition to any aquarium and provides an impressive visual highlight.
