Echinodorus x barthii
The cultivar Echinodorus x barthii is a magnificent solitary plant that is particularly suitable for large aquariums. With a height of 25-50 cm and a width of 20-30 cm, it blends decoratively into your underwater paradise. Young leaves of this plant present themselves in a deep dark red, while older leaves take on a dark green coloration.
Good color development and healthy growth can be achieved with high light intensity and a sufficient supply of micronutrients. A nutrient-rich substrate and the addition of CO2 also promote the plant's growth. Due to its size, Echinodorus x barthii can cast a lot of shade and therefore needs to be shortened occasionally.
