Cryptocoryne parva
Cryptocoryne par va from Sri Lanka is the smallest of all Cryptocorynes and reaches a height of only 3-6 cm. A special feature of this species is that its leaf shape and color hardly change regardless of the growing conditions. Compared to other Cryptocorynes, however, it requires more light as it almost loses its leaf blade under water. For this reason, C. parva should never be placed in the shade of other plants.
The plants are planted a few centimeters apart and form a continuous, low planting after about six months. This makes it ideal as a foreground plant for your aquarium, where it creates dense and attractive greenery.
