Crinum calamistratum - Decorative bulbous plant for aquariums
Crinum calamistratum is an impressive bulbous plant from West Africa that impresses with its dark green, very narrow and wavy leaves. These can reach a length of 40 to 120 cm and add a unique and decorative touch to any aquarium.
Compared to other Crinum species, Crinum calamistratum forms fewer bulbs and requires slightly more light. However, well-grown plants often develop numerous side bulbs and thus contribute to propagation.
This plant is particularly easy to care for and is not eaten by herbivorous fish, making it ideal for a variety of aquariums. In addition, Crinum calamistratum can also be used in brackish water aquariums with a low salt concentration, which underlines its versatility.
