Bolsa de Pastor pods
The Bolsa de Pastor pods, also known by the botanical name Zeyheria Digitalis, are a spectacular eye-catcher from Brazil, both for your aquarium and your terrarium. These completely natural decorative pieces are highly woody and have unique "spines" that resemble small hedgehogs.
These half shells are not only decorative, but also functional. They provide excellent hiding places and can be used as food bowls. In the aquarium, the natural growth supports young aquatic life with food, while the tannins and humic substances released enrich the water and thus promote the well-being of all inhabitants.
To ensure that the pods sink in the water, we recommend weighing them down with a small stone, which you can remove after a few days. Before placing them in the aquarium or terrarium, the pods should be briefly rinsed or ideally soaked for a few days to remove excess tannins.
Dimensions: The pods vary in length from approx. 7 to 16 cm and in height from approx. 3 to 5.5 cm, which also makes them suitable for nano aquariums and smaller terrariums.
Individualization: As this is a natural product, each piece varies in appearance and size.
