Bolbitis heudelotii
Bolbitis heudelotii is a beautiful West African aquatic fern with attractive transparent green leaves. When planting, the rhizome should not be covered by the substrate to prevent rotting. Bolbitis heudelotii should therefore ideally be attached to roots or stones. Until the plant has grown firmly, it can be secured with nylon cord.
This plant reaches a height of 15-40 cm and reproduces easily by dividing the horizontal rootstock (rhizome). The growth of Bolbitis heudelotii is significantly boosted by the addition of CO2 and it develops optimally in soft and slightly acidic water.
