Aqua Nova Hang On Filter NF-300
The Aqua Nova Hang On Filter NF-300 is a powerful cascade external filter that is characterized by its compact size and easy handling. Ideal for aquariums up to 60 liters, this filter offers a flow rate of 160 liters per hour with a low power consumption of only 3 watts.
Equipped with a long suction pipe with suction protection, the filter ensures effective and safe cleaning of the aquarium water. The filter insert consists of a sponge filter with holder, which is easy to clean and guarantees optimum filtration.
The dimensions of the filter are ideal for unobtrusive placement at the edge of the aquarium. The total depth is around 9 cm, with the part outside the aquarium measuring just 5 cm. The height and width are kept compact at 11 cm and 8.5 cm respectively. The intake pipe has a diameter of approx. 11 mm.
To make the filter particularly safe for shrimps, we recommend using a size S filter guard or a suitable filter sponge. Alternatively, a small sponge can be inserted into the intake pipe or a fine stocking can be pulled over it to regulate the flow and protect smaller creatures.
