Anubias barteri var. nana 'Large'
Anubias barteri var. nana 'Large' is a particularly attractive and robust aquarium plant that thrives in almost all conditions. This plant, which originates from Cameroon, reaches a height of 5-10 cm and grows slowly, which can make it susceptible to slow-growing algae.
With its decorative appearance, it is particularly effective when placed on a stone or root. Nylon cord can be used to secure it until it has grown firmly. It is important not to cover the rhizome when planting it in the substrate, otherwise it can easily rot. Anubias barteri var. nana 'Large' often flowers under water and is rarely attacked by herbivorous fish.
