Anubias barteri var. nana on lava rock
Anubias barteri var. nana is a small, attractive plant that thrives in all conditions and is therefore perfect for any aquarium. Originally from Cameroon, this robust plant reaches a height of 5-10 cm. Its slow growth makes it susceptible to slow-growing algae, but its beauty and ease of care more than make up for this.
Anubias barteri var. nana looks best on a lava rock or root. It can be held in place with a nylon cord while it grows. It is important that the rhizome is not covered when planting in the substrate, otherwise it could easily rot. This plant often flowers under water and is rarely eaten by herbivorous fish.
With its hardy nature and ability to thrive even in challenging conditions, Anubias barteri var. nana is a valuable addition to any aquarium. At Rendo Shrimp, we place particular emphasis on the quality and health of our plants to ensure that your aquarium remains vibrant and healthy at all times.
