Description
Taxiphyllum barbieri originates from Southeast Asia and is undemanding with low water and light requirements. Taxiphyllum barbieri grows readily on all surfaces, making it ideal for decorating stones or tree roots or for covering installations in the aquarium. The plant is secured with a nylon cord until it has grown firmly to the substrate. If it grows too much, it can be trimmed with scissors. In breeding aquariums, Taxiphyllum barbieri, often called Java moss, is a fantastic hiding place for the offspring.
