Description
Sagittaria subulata from South America is an ideal undemanding foreground plant for large aquaria that forms a dense group with its short stolons. place individual plants 2-4 cm apart when planting. Can be somewhat unpredictable, as it can suddenly grow 50 cm tall with age depending on the conditions and then become low again when moved to the background. In the aquarium, it can stretch a long flower stalk towards the water surface and unfurl small white flowers directly above the water level.
