Description
Rotala macrandra 'Japan' is an unusually beautiful aquarium plant. Unfortunately, it is very demanding. It needs strong lighting to develop its beautiful red color. The addition of CO2 and soft water are necessary for good growth. It looks best in a group, but the individual shoots should not be planted so densely that the lower leaves receive no light.
