Description
100% sterile laboratory aquarium plants in sealing cups.Riccia fluitans is a small liverwort that can be found in nature in many parts of the world. The Japanese Takashi Amano has inspired many aquarists to keep Riccia fluitans submerged by tying the plant to a rock with fishing line. New shoots tend to grow towards the surface and therefore need to be shortened occasionally with scissors. Riccia fluitans thrives best under water with the addition of CO2. Under good growing conditions, oxygen bubbles form in the tips of the leaves. It provides good protection for fish fry.

Das Riccia fluitans kam wie im Shop beschrieben im Rahmen einer Bestellung bei mir an und lies sich gut verarbeiten. Es war eine schöne Portion. Nach ein paar Tagen akklimatisieren zeigt sich dieses Aquarienmoos als tolle Bepflanzung für Garnelen und Zwergkrebse die darin nach Futterpartikeln suchen.
