Description
Lilaeopsis brasiliensis from South America can form very dense growth, but the 4-7 cm high plants only achieve a real "lawn effect" when the light intensity is very high. When planting in the aquarium, place small clumps (approx. 1/8 pot) a few cm apart, as the plants will grow together more quickly. However, Lilaeopsis should be planted in an open area without shade so that it receives sufficient light. Suitable for the garden pond and can also withstand the low salt concentration of a brackish water aquarium.
