Description
Hygrophila polysperma is one of the most frugal aquarium plants. It comes from Southeast Asia and grows to a height of 25-40 cm and a width of 4-8 cm. It is particularly suitable for beginners as it grows in almost all conditions. It usually grows so quickly that care must be taken not to smother other plants. Requires care, as the tips of the shoots often need to be pruned. When a leaf floats on the water, a new small plant forms. Has very different shapes and leaf colors, both of which depend to a certain extent on the lighting.
