Description
A very compact variant of Hygrophila corymbosa, with the leaves sitting short of the stem. The leaves are brownish-dark brown when the plant is delivered, but after acclimatization in the aquarium the leaves become light green with a silvery-white underside. Under strong lighting, the newest leaves may turn reddish brown and over time the oldest and lower leaves will die - especially under low light intensity. However, new side shoots often form to fill the space.
