Description
The Hottonia stem plant from Asia and Europe is an undemanding and easy-care beginner's plant. The many beautifully curved shoots with lobed, intensely light green leaves quickly form a dense group. Each stem is 4 - 6 cm wide and 10 - 30 cm tall. Regular pruning of the longest shoots ensures vigorous new growth from below, maintaining the dense, bushy shape. Thanks to its broad growth habit, the plant is particularly suitable as a transition between very low and tall plants, just as its light green color can provide beautiful contrasts.
