Description
Mother plant in XL pot. Echinodorus bleherae from South America is undemanding and beautiful. A nutrient-rich substrate encourages the plant to grow to a height of 25-40 cm. However, it is important to remember to prune the plant so that it does not take too much light away from the plants growing below it. Echinodorus bleherae also thrives in dimly lit aquaria, as it grows towards the light itself. An undemanding and easy solitary plant for both the novice and the experienced aquarist with a somewhat larger aquarium. It used to be sold under the trade name "Paniculatus".
