Description
A very popular aquarium plant from South America that forms beautiful, fine leaves and grows to a height of 30-80. Of the Cabomba species, it requires the least light, but causes problems in poorly lit aquaria. If there is not enough light, we recommend trying the less light-hungry Limnophila sessiliflora. Looks most decorative in groups and is eaten as a vegetable in some regions. stems or very young plants are grouped together with an anchor to form a bunch. Remove the anchor and divide the individual plants. In the case of stem plants, the leaves of the lowest 5 cm of each stem must be removed as well as any damaged leaves. The individual plants are planted in the substrate with adequate spacing. The plant quickly forms roots and starts to grow.
