Description
West African water fern with beautiful transparent-green leaves. When planting, the rhizome must not be covered by the substrate, otherwise it will rot, which is why Bolbitis heudelotii should be planted on roots or stones. Until the plant has grown firmly on the substrate, it can be secured with nylon cord. The plant grows to a height of 15-40 cm and reproduces easily by dividing the horizontal rootstock (rhizome). Growth is significantly promoted by the addition of CO2 and only develops optimally in soft and slightly acidic water.
