Description
This cultivated form of the stem plant Bacopa monnieri is characterized by a more compact, and in good light conditions, almost creeping growth. If upright growing shoots are cut off, the plant can be kept low and dense, as it readily produces numerous side shoots. The plant can also grow in the shade of other plants. It is particularly suitable as a slightly taller carpet or as a bushy plant in the middle or foreground of the aquarium. Without the addition of CO2 and in poor light conditions, the plant grows less upright and not as compact.
