Description
Bacopa caroliniana has been used as an aquarium plant for many years. It originates from the USA and quickly grows to a height of 30 cm, while the stems are 3-4 cm wide. Apart from its relatively high light requirement, it is an undemanding plant. Due to its slow growth, it is one of the few stem plants that does not require much care. Like most stem plants, it is most effective in a smaller group. It can be easily propagated by cuttings by taking side shoots and planting them in the substrate. stems or very young plants are tied together with an anchor. Remove the anchor and divide the individual plants. In the case of stem plants, the leaves of the lowest 5 cm of each stem must be removed as well as any damaged leaves. The individual plants are planted in the substrate with adequate spacing. The plant quickly forms roots and starts to grow.
