Description
Aponogeton boivinianus is a large, vigorous tuberous plant that can be found in the wild in Madagascar and is only suitable for larger aquaria. Under favorable growing conditions, it can form very large leaves - up to 80 cm long and 8 cm wide. The oldest leaves are dark green, the younger ones light green and sometimes brownish until they are fully developed.occurs in fast-flowing water in the wild and also prefers a certain amount of water movement in the aquarium. Requires a dormant period during which it does not form leaves.
