Description
Anubias barteri var. nana is a small, attractive plant that thrives in all conditions and comes from Cameroon, growing to a height of 5-10 cm. It grows slowly and can therefore be attacked by slow-growing algae and looks best on a stone or root. It can be fixed with nylon cord while it is growing. When planting in the substrate, the rhizome must not be covered, otherwise it will rot easily. It often flowers under water and is rarely eaten by herbivorous fish.
