Our Story

Founded in 2011 by Richard Rendler, Rendo-Shrimp has grown into one of Germany’s leading suppliers in the aquarium hobby, with a special focus on dwarf shrimp. In July 2023, we, Lorenz and Johannes, took over the shop and integrated it into the Broshrimp family. This acquisition marks a new chapter in our history, in which we continue to build on our passion and expertise for aquaristics.

At Rendo-Shrimp, our aim is to offer high-quality aquarium products and livestock at fair prices. We strive to make the wonderful world of aquaristics accessible to everyone. We believe that everyone should experience the beauty and fascination of a well-maintained aquarium.

Our range includes a variety of invertebrates—dwarf shrimp, crayfish, and snails—as well as aquarium plants, tanks, décor items, equipment, and accessories. Quality and customer proximity are especially important to us, which is why we’re always available via email and our in-shop chatbox to respond promptly to customer inquiries.

Our passion for aquaristics has been with us since childhood. With a growing network of suppliers and breeding partners—such as EbiTengu from Taiwan—we guarantee a broad selection and customized solutions for individual needs. Our team consists of experienced aquarists who bring extensive knowledge and hands-on experience.

Animal Shipping

In the field of animal shipping, we place the utmost importance on quality and safety, employing premium packaging methods and efficient logistics thanks to our central location in Germany.

Future Plans

Following the takeover of Rendo-Shrimp, we had to temporarily reduce our assortment, particularly in the area of ornamental fish. Our goal is to expand our offering across all categories and to reintroduce our fish selection as soon as possible.
