Our history

Founded in 2011 by Richard Rendler, Rendo-Shrimp has developed into one of the leading German suppliers in the aquaristics sector, with a special focus on dwarf shrimp. In July 2023, we, Lorenz and Johannes, took over the shop and integrated it into the Broshrimp family. This takeover marks a new chapter in our history, in which we continue and expand our passion and expertise for aquaristics.

Our mission

At Rendo-Shrimp, our goal is to offer high-quality aquaristic products and animals at fair prices. Our aim is to make the wonderful world of aquaristics accessible to everyone. We believe that everyone should experience the beauty and fascination of a well-maintained aquarium.

Our range includes a variety of invertebrates, including dwarf shrimp, crabs and snails, as well as aquarium plants, aquariums, furnishings, technology and accessories. Quality and customer proximity are particularly important to us, which is why we are always available via email and a chat box in the shop to respond quickly to customer inquiries.

Our expertise

Our passion for aquariums has been with us since our childhood. With a growing network of suppliers and breeding partners, such as EbiTengu from Taiwan, we guarantee a wide range and special solutions for individual concerns. Our team consists of experienced aquarists who contribute their extensive knowledge and experience.

We are characterized by exclusive customer support with short waiting times and offer a large selection of high-quality animals and aquarium accessories. Our close cooperation with suppliers always guarantees the highest product quality.

Customer service and animal shipping

Our customers can reach us via a chat box in the shop, which enables quick and efficient problem solving. In the area of ​​animal shipping, we attach great importance to quality and safety, including high-quality packaging methods and efficient shipping thanks to our central location in Germany.

Future plans

After the takeover of Rendo-Shrimp, we had to temporarily reduce our range, especially in the area of ​​aquarium fish. Our goal is to expand our offering in all areas and to resume the fish range as soon as possible.
